Live In Care
Live-in care from My Homecare offers a solution that is devised around your family’s needs. Live-in carers will maintain your comfort, health and safety, whilst providing everything from help with dressing, cooking, washing, medication, housekeeping and cleaning.
Live in carers role is to enhance people’s well-being and their 1:1 care is not restricted to basic health needs.
They may take the person shopping, escort to social events, assist in exercises, go for walks, take them to local clubs of their wishes or even take them on holiday. Our specially devised support package concentrates not only on basic health needs of the person but has a large focus on the need for social well-being, stimulation and happiness.

Live in Care is a genuine alternative to expensive home care support packages with numerous carers or having to move from your home to a residential home. We will provide you with a responsible qualified carer who will live in your home and enable you to stay in your own environment. Your carer may stay for a number of weeks and then take a short break. During their break periods for holidays or sickness we will provide another carer who will care for you until their return. You will have one main carer and we will keep the number of other carers to a minimum and ensure they all follow our Care Support Plan.
Live in care packages always have a local responsible Care Manager who are “On Call” 24 hours a day for peace of mind and will respond to emergency requirements accordingly. Our senior management and CEO have over 25 years experience of managing care. Although most of our customers are elderly, we also manage care services for younger people with illness that prevent them living independently in their own home.
We can provide as much or as little support as your loved one needs. Each support plan will be as individual as the person. Our live in carer may be there simply for friendship, meal provision, assistance with mobilisation and for safety. However all of our live in carers are well trained and we care for people with more complex needs.
Our service is not contracted and can be for short or longer term. For instance, if you care for a loved one at home but would like some time to yourself, perhaps for a well-deserved holiday, our service can be purchased for shorter periods of time to accommodate. We ask only for 4 weeks’ notice to cancel our care service.
